Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of play.pikl.in (the “Platform”), operated by Vishal Choudhary (trading as Pikl Play). By accessing or using the Platform you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

What Pikl Play is

Pikl Play is a pickleball tournament-management platform. Organizers use it to create and run tournaments (registrations, draws, scheduling, live scores, results). Players use it to register for and follow tournaments. Pikl Play facilitates registrations and payments between players and organizers; it does not itself organize events.

Accounts & eligibility

• You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for activity under your account.
• Access as an organizer may be subject to approval.

Organizers

• You are solely responsible for your event — its accuracy, conduct, safety, scheduling, and honoring valid registrations.
• You set your event’s registration fees and any per-event withdrawal terms, and you are responsible for refunds due to participants under our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
• You authorize Pikl Play to collect registration fees from participants on your behalf and to settle them to you, net of applicable platform and payment-gateway charges.
• Where you enable DUPR-rated categories, you authorize submission of completed match results to DUPR.

Participants

• Registration is confirmed once payment (if any) is successful.
• You agree to follow event rules and conduct yourself fairly and safely.
• Fees, refunds, and cancellations are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy and the organizer’s stated terms.

Payments

Payments are processed through our payment gateway, Razorpay. Pikl Play may charge organizers a platform or subscription fee, and may deduct platform and gateway charges from collected registration fees. All fees are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless stated otherwise and are inclusive or exclusive of applicable taxes as indicated at the point of payment.

Third-party services

The Platform relies on third parties including Razorpay (payments), DUPR (ratings and result submission), and hosting/infrastructure providers. Your use of features involving these services may also be subject to their terms.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Platform — including attempting to disrupt it, access data you are not authorized to, submit false results, or use it for unlawful purposes.

Intellectual property

The Platform, its software, and its branding are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute them except as permitted by these Terms.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vishal Choudhary (trading as Pikl Play) is not liable for the conduct of organizers or participants, for events themselves, or for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Platform is limited to the amount of platform fees you paid to us for the transaction giving rise to the claim.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Vishal Choudhary (trading as Pikl Play) against claims arising from your misuse of the Platform or your breach of these Terms.

Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bengaluru shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
